Why do I get the feeling that I wasted one hour hearing the same speech over again, but in Republican doublespeak?

Rule #1: Do What You Do Best

Running a SMB is not about ideas…but passion, or being passionate about ideas, good or bad…and usually just bad. As a C-level exec, if you’re not doing the following, then you’re simply not doing your job (and your CEO/spouse’s job–cuz even we don’t know what s/he does in his/her office all day long):

• “filtering” rabbit sites (god forbid my employees visit them because they’ll probably download a virus)
• monitoring everyone’s internet usage levels using your nifty ghosting software, including what your 15 year old kid is doing at home when you’re not at home
• napping for hours after crashing from 3 redbulls and 2 espressos (because the employees cant see your “do not disturb” status everyday from 1-5pm on Skype)
• drafting late forms for employees who come in 4:20 late from lunch
• calling your IT every 10 minutes wondering why your computer is sooooooo slow. (couldn’t have to do with all the rabbit sites I have open, could it?)
• figuring out how to get the cute sales rep to come to your office like by fudging her commission every 2 weeks then spending 2 hours explaining to her that work ethic and the bottom line is very important to the business, causing her to miss a very important client call.
• I was on a roll too. I’ll update as soon as more hilarious stuff happens at work.
